We offer financial support to children that have been diagnosed with cancer; recognizing that cancer treatment can be costly.
Our team of professional counsellors offers to support children and their families throughout cancer treatment, hospitalization and thereafter.
Prolonged hospitalization can be draining to the patients’ family and caregivers. Sethsmile working with professional bedside service providers support family members to take care of hospitalized children.
We partner with research organizations, institutions and individuals to foster advanced research into the treatment and management of child cancers.
Creating awareness about child cancer is crucial to support children and families affected by it. We create awareness through; sharing on social media, radio and television talk shows, organizing events, partnerships, collaboration and advocacy.
We support families utilize their resourcefulness and determination through income-generation schemes to create a stable economic future and a better life. Increasing household wealth will mean that families will no longer rely on handouts rather earn through productive and deceit work to cater for their needs feeding, medical and school fees costs.
Through our health projects and medical trips, we target terminally ill children whose families can’t afford the high cost of medical care. Whether it’s the child him/herself or is being impacted by parental ill health, or has recurring medical problems, we support them access the healthcare they need.
In 2019, he was diagnosed with craniopharyngioma a brain tumor of the central nervous system. He endured three major surgeries; unfortunately passed away on Christmas day of 2021 two days after his third operation.
